Singing with Enrique was great: Sunidhi Chauhan

Mumbai, Feb 7 (IANS) Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan, known for her versatility, has gone global and recorded a track with Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias. She termed the experience "great" but felt there is not much difference in song recording in India and abroad.
"The experience was great. I have already recorded the song. Unfortunately I can't talk much about it. But it's in the process and will be out very soon," Sunidhi told IANS in an interview.
She and Enrique sang "I Can Feel You", which has both Hindi and English lyrics. Sunidhi has also shot for a video with the Spanish singer for the song that is slated to be out this month.
The 27-year-old Indian singer has belted out chartbuster songs like "Ruki ruki" ("Mast"), "Dhoom machale" ("Dhoom"), "Deedar de" ("Dus"), "Beedi" ("Omkara"), "Sajnaji vari vari" ("Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd."), "Chor bazari" ("Love Aaj Kal") and most recently "Sheila Ki Jawani" ("Tees Maar Khan").
Asked if she found any difference while recording a song internationally and when in India, Sunidhi, who wants to collaborate with singer Mariah Carey someday, said: "There is not much difference."
"The difference is in the song and the atmosphere. It's a nice experience. But when it comes to singing, it's all the same," she added.
Sunidhi has been in Bollywood for more than a decade now, but the entry of new singers in the industry doesn't scare her. She believes that being good at work is the survival tactic.
"It's not tough to survive in the industry. You just have to sing better than everyone else and you survive. It's a simple equation. You give your 100 percent time and discipline, and work so hard that people see and appreciate," she said.
"As long as you know that working hard is the mantra, you will not find it hard to survive in the industry," she added.
The singer made her debut as a reality show judge in "Indian Idol" last year.
So any plans of taking up acting like Sonu Nigam and Himesh Reshammiya?
"I did TV, I've done a couple of videos and I'm quite happy with that. When it comes to acting, I believe that unless I'm sure of what I want to do, I don't get into it," Sunidhi said.
"For acting, I still haven't got that inner voice. So I wouldn't like to go ahead with it now. But as soon as I feel I'm ready, I wont mind doing it," she added.
"I believe in instincts, whatever my instinct says, I do that," Sunidhi said.
And how does she feel when she looks back at her journey till now?
"To be really frank, I don't look back to analyse how the journey has been because I feel that the journey has begun now. It's not that I have done a lot in life. I need to do lot more. So I don't relate to that feeling of looking back."

I should be having kids by 33: Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif’s love life is, of course, the perennial hot topic, what with constant rumours now on whether she’s on-off with Salman Khan or Ranbir Kapoor.
But when asked about her marriage, she tells GQ magazine, “Do I see myself married in two years? I don’t really know. I think by
the time I’m around 33, I should be having kids.”Kaif adds, “But you can’t plan it. I do want to get married, but do I want to have a child grow up without a father? No. I think you need more security.”
Currently busy shooting for Yash Raj’s Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, she tells the men’s mag, “Lack of sleep is dangerous. When I feel tired, I want to put on hats and scarves and build a wall around myself.” According to Kaif, working in films is a wonderful business, but can be very tricky too.
“You’re being watched and judged by a lot of people. You live through the newspapers.” Overt displays of female sexuality, for example, are out. “I’m not comfortable beyond a certain line of sensuality. I think it can be offensive to certain sectors of your audience. It’s important that it comes across as you.”
Kaif’s reluctance to open up extends to her wildly nomadic childhood. Born in Hong Kong, the magazine informs, she left with her British mother Suzanne Turquotte, a veteran NGO activist, when she was two or three, spending time in France and Japan and then Hawaii by the age of 11, before arriving in London at 13. “I have a lot of feelings of being lost and shy and isolated. I felt alien,” she says. “It makes you feel unsettled in your mind. You crave somewhere to settle (down).”
To sound easier on the Indian ear, Katrina took the name of her Kashmiri-British father, Mohammed Kaif, with her Bollywood debut at age 18.

Anushka Sharma: 'I don't watch cricket

Mumbai, Feb. 11 -- I know nothing about cricket," laughs Anushka Sharma, who plays the lead in Patiala House that releases today, and revolves hugely around India's favourite sport. The only time that she followed the game was during one of the World Cups when she was in class 10.
"I still don't know why I was watching it. But there was something that had me hooked on to it. I watched every match and read up all the details. And after that World Cup, I didn't ever switch on the TV to watch a cricket match. But I wouldn't run in the opposite direction if my father or brother were watching it."
The actor, however, is not averse to the idea of watching the upcoming World Cup matches in stadiums across India. But they are not on her priority list. "Any sport becomes fascinating when you watch it live, in a packed stadium with hundreds and thousands of spectators cheering for different teams and players. I don't mind watching any game for that matter, even if I know very little about it," says Sharma, adding that she may watch a match or two at home, if she has the time.
Back home, her brother and father, she says, are big cricket fanatics. "They won't move from their seats, sometimes keeping their postures constant because they think if they change it, a key player will get out. My brother and his friends don't entertain anyone in the room if Team India goes through a grim situation during the match," says Sharma, with a chuckle.
She admits that while shooting for Patiala House, she faced a problem recognising most of the cricketers on the sets. "Herschelle Gibbs and Andrew Symonds were in the news then. So, I recalled their faces clearly. But I couldn't identify the others," reminisces Sharma.
"But I didn't let anyone know that I was poor with cricket. If Akshay (co-star Kumar) introduced me to one of them, I would smile and nod as if I had their match statistics running at the back of my mind. The minute Akshay turned around, I would ask Nikhil (director Advani) to tell me who had I spoken to or shaken hands with just then."

R Madhavan would like to be Tarzan

From acting in serials to hosting shows like Tol Mol Ke Bol and Deal Ya No Deal, to working in both Tamil as well as Hindi films, Madhavan has donned several hats. He worked in hit movies like Guru and Rang De Basanti, but it was with the blockbuster 3 Idiots that he tasted real popularity and success.
And now, he is back on the silver screen with a surprisingly small budget film, Tanu Weds Manu, where he is paired with Kangana Ranaut for the first time.

I proposed on Valentine’s Day: Hrithik

He’s been voted the most desirable Valentine by a woman’s magazine for his Greek God looks and his fortune. The compliment has put matching smiles on Hrithik Roshan and wife Sussanne’s faces. “Love should always make you smile. If it brings pain, anger, sadness and hate, then it’s obsession,” reasons
the star.
Hrithik has played the lover boy in countless films down the last decade and singles out Koi…Mil Gaya, Jodhaa Akbar and Guzaarish among his most memorable cinematic romances.
For Hrithik, February 14 is a celebration of love in its many forms. In some countries, a stranger leaves sweets out for children and he’d want to do the same for his sons. In some parts, it’s about celebrating your roots and remembering the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for love. “I don’t believe in dying for love, it’s more courageous to live. But everyday, we make small, sweet sacrifices because we want to,” he points out. “And our love for our grandparents and parents keep us rooted.”
One Valentine’s Day, a year after he started dating Sussanne, he went down on his knees on Juhu beach in Mumbai and proposed to her. “I’d known since I was 12 that she was the girl for me, but that was the big moment, complete with a ring,” he smiles. “Earlier, on another February 14, I’d told her those three all-important words, ‘I love you’.”
A month ago, at an award ceremony in Singapore, Sussanne publicly declared her love for him, and an overwhelmed Hrithik is trying hard to match up. “I’m a shy guy, it’s hard to be so spontaneous in front of the world. But on February 27, Sussanne will be opening her shop and I’m so proud of her. For 15 years, she has supported me in my career. Now I want to be her pillar and punching board,” he asserts.

Priyanka Chopra: 'His statements have really upset me'

Mumbai, Feb. 16 -- Even as she is looking forward to the release of 7 Khoon Maaf this Friday, an altercation with one of her co-stars has left a bitter taste in Priyanka Chopra's mouth.
The mere mention of Annu Kapoor, who plays one of her seven husbands in Vishal Bhardwaj's screen adaptation of Ruskin Bond's novella, Sussanna's Seven Husbands, is enough to miff the usually politically correct Chopra.
It all started when Kapoor was questioned about Chopra's reported reservations about doing intimate scenes with him. When we reminded Chopra that Kapoor felt she had reservations because he is her father, Dr Ashok Chopra's friend, she says she's not certain he said that. "I read that Annu Sir had said: 'I'm not good-looking, I'm not a hero. Agar main hero hota (if I had been a hero), then maybe she would have done intimate scenes with me. Because otherwise, she doesn't have a problem doing intimate scenes with heroes. If talent goes out of the window, I guess you just need to be good looking,'" she recalls.
"If he wants to do intimate scenes and pass such cheap comments, then he should do those kind of films. Such scenes were never part of our film," states Chopra. She makes no attempt to hide the fact that she is still upset and angry because of Kapoor's remarks. "I'm very irritated. I don't think unko aisa kehna shobha deta hai (saying such things doesn't suit him at all).
However, she quickly adds that probably Kapoor didn't think his remarks would trouble her. "I don't think he knew that his comments would upset me. But, his statements have really upset me. It was very wrong of him to speak the way he did." No wonder when asked whom she got along with best during the making of the movie, Priyanka quickly replies, "Vishal sir." (Director Vishal Bhardwaj)
When we contacted Kapoor to know his reaction to Chopra's angry statements, the actor, who is currently in Berlin where 7 Khoon Maaf is being screened, replied via a text message: "I have never ever uttered a single word for or against Priyanka, allegedly about her refusing to do any scene with me. It's none of my business, it is between the director and her."
]
He added, "When I'm asked about my feelings about playing her husband, I have said that people will judge my performance on merit rather than based on whether I'm playing husband to Priyanka or Meryl Streep. I may be a character artiste but I'm an artiste with character. My elderly advice to Priyanka: 'Beta (Well, I do affectionately address her as beta), don't take all this too seriously. Don't get stressed. You're a wonderful actress. God bless you.'"

I wasn't nervous performing with dad Naseer: Vivaan Shah

Mumbai, Feb 17 (IANS) His father is an award-winning actor and is known for his powerful performances but Naseeruddin Shah's college-going son Vivaan was not at all nervous while sharing screen space with his veteran dad in his debut film "7 Khoon Maaf".
"Our characters are interesting and both the characters have very colourful picturisation; yet there is a huge contrast between the two characters. I was not nervous while performing with my father. Every time he was there on the set, I was motivated and charged up even more," said Vivaan, 21, who feels "Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyon Ata Hai" is his father's best film and his favourite.
"With my father being such a big actor, there will be a pressure on me. I will try my best to look at it in a healthy way so that the pressure will have a constructive influence on me and help me to do better and be better."
Vivaan, younger son of Naseer, plays Priyanka Chopra's fourth husband in director Vishal Bharadwaj's dark thriller "7 Khoon Maaf".
Talking about his character, he said: "My character ages from 17 to 40 years. I grow up to be a forensic scientist and all through I build a relationship with Susanna. I had to put on five kilograms to fit the bill of a 40-year-old. My character goes though a huge contrast."
And Naseer too plays one of the seven husbands of Priyanka in the movie.
Based on author Ruskin Bond's short story "Susanne's Seven Husbands", the film captures the romantic misadventures of Susanna Anna-Marie Johannes, a beautiful woman who over the course of 35 years gets married seven times and all her spouses mysteriously die.
Working on this film was a learning experience for this student.
"I learnt everything about professionalism; work ethics, about how the industry works, about acting; shooting and how so many efforts combine in making films. I think that's the biggest lessons I have learnt," said Vivaan who is in the final year of graduation.
"7 Khoon Maaf" is set to release worldwide Friday.
How did the role come to you?
"It's a complicated affair. Vishalji had seen me and observed me when he was still in the process of casting and was contemplating whom to cast for the crucial character. One day he calls me to his office and asks me if I want to audition. Again he sort of observed me and told me that I have been considered for the character," said the actor who wants to dip his fingers in both the flavours of movies - art house and commercial cinema.
Though he has started his acting journey, the youngster wasn't interested in facing the camera at all.
"No, I never wanted to get into acting. I always had this strong determination that I don't want to be an actor because ever since I was a kid, my parents being in the industry, it was always something that was expected from me. So there was a determination that I will show them (friends) by not being an actor. I thought I will be an engineer or anything, but never an actor. But this determination evaporated when Vishalji called me."

Pritam to compose for 'Dhoom 3

Mumbai, Feb 14 (IANS) After giving memorable music in "Dhoom" and "Dhoom 2", Pritam Chakraborty has again been roped in to compose for the third movie in the popular franchise by Yash Raj Films. The composer is quite thrilled about the association.
"It's always great working with YRF and even more so on something as iconic as 'Dhoom'. It is a great feeling that the music has lived on with the franchise and the two are inseparable. 'Dhoom machaenge' once more," Pritam said in a press statement.
Pritam, who is also popular for his soulful as well as peppy numbers in films like "Jab We Met", "Life In A...Metro" and "Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai", was an obvious choice for "Dhoom 3", says director Vijay Krishna Acharya a.k.a. Victor.
"Pritam is not just a chart-blazing music director but an integral part of the 'Dhoom' series. It's going to be super working with him," he said.
"Dhoom 3" will feature Aamir Khan as the baddie. John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan respectively had essayed the role of a smart thief in the first and second movie of the franchise.
Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will be seen once again in the movie as inspector Jai Dixit and Ali respectively.
Produced by Aditya Chopra, "Dhoom 3" will be ready for a 2012 Christmas release.

Aamir Khan to sing for Dhoom 3

Aamir Khan, who is all set to play an out-and-out negative character in Dhoom 3, is all set to sing a theme song for his grey character, reports Mid Day. Pritam Chakraborty, the music director of the film is excited about working with Mr Perfectionist.
According to buzz Aamir's character will get a signature tune of its own and Pritam has been directed by Aditya Chopra to create a tune that would make the audience sit up and jump out of their seats every time Aamir strides across the screen.
Pritam confirms to Mid Day, "I've said no to several new assignments including Double Dhamaal. This is the first time in my entire career that I'd be working with Aamir Khan. We all know how special that makes this project."
Pritam is working hard to make sure the music of the next edition of Dhoom goes beyond the music of previous two parts.
Pritam tells the tabloid, "The title song and music are of course integral to the music in Dhoom. But I have to go beyond that. There will be a quality of sound in Dhoom 3 that will make Dhoom and D:2 recede from the audiences' mind."

Rahat, manager fined Rs.1.5 mn each

New Delhi, Feb 20 (IANS) Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and his manager Maroof Ali were Sunday fined Rs.1.5 million ($33,000) each for carrying undeclared foreign currency while trying to leave India earlier this month, sources said.

Rahat and his 16-member troupe was detained at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport Feb 13 for carrying $142,000 in cash and cheques when they were going to catch a flight to Dubai for onward journey to Karachi.
Rahat was released Feb 14 after hours of questioning by officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence.

Shakira misses her date with Bollywood

Shakira’s date with Bollywood is off for the time being. The Latin American sensation won’t be seen singing for music director duo Salim-Sulaiman in debutant Sachin Joshi’s Azaan. For the uninitiated, the pop diva was set to sing a “very sensuous cabaret kind of song.”
“Initially, Shakira had agreed to sing the number and was excited but she got busy with her huge world tour. Since then, we haven’t had any response from her, possibly because she is caught up with her tour and other assignments,” informs Salim.
He admits that they’ve repeatedly “tried to contact Shakira again”. “But there has been no response from her side. So now, we have Shakiraaccepted that the song isn’t happening. After all, it is only up to a point that you can pursue someone,” says the composer.
Apparently, the Shakira number was supposed to be a frenzied dance track to be filmed on South African model Candice Boucher, who stars in Azaan along with entrepreneur Sachin Joshi. The song was supposed to have been recorded by mid 2010. The lyrics were supposed to be English, but with a smattering of easy Hindi. Sachin, who makes his acting debut with Azaan, was apparently in constant touch with Shakira. “We were excited to record the song but it’s not easy to get global stars,” says the composer.
Salim, on his part, is looking forward to a glut of films after the super successful Band Baaja Baraat. Plus, he will also be seen in a music reality show. “But I can’t divulge any details yet. It’s going to be very interesting. Let’s see how things go,” he says.

70 live shows and take my music repertoire far and wide,” he says.

Bollywood wishes Rahman luck for Oscars

Mumbai, Feb 22 (IANS) Music maestro A.R. Rahman has bagged two nominations at the 83rd Academy Awards for his work in Danny Boyle's "127 Hours" and the film frat is hoping that the composer triumphs again at the gala event Sunday.
His colleagues and friends wish him luck and are hoping he brings the golden statuette home again, having bagged two Oscars for the best original score and the song in 2009 for rags-to-riches drama "Slumdog Millionaire". This time, Rahman has been nominated for the original score of "127 Hours" as well as original song "If I Rise".
"I feel great. I feel wonderful because Rahman is one person who has made us so proud and I am really, really happy. I wish him all the best," said Rani Mukerji.
Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan said: "That's a great achievement. The last time when he won the Oscar, it looked like one time dream. I wish him all the best. He is a true deserving candidate and pride of the country."
"He had to get the nominations. He has already has two to his credit. He will continue getting them. He has already made India proud and would continue doing so. My best wishes are always with him," said singer Udit Narayan.
Singer Kailash Kher said: "I congratulate him and wish him all the best. Every year he should achieve more honours."
"The whole country is proud of him. He is good, he is talented and I hope he delivers time and again. I am very happy. I wish him all the best," actor Arshad Warsi said.
Composer Pritam Chakraborty said: "I wish him luck. Anything you say about him is less. If you name a few pride of our country, he is one of them. I wish him all the best."

I hope 'Dum maro..' is biggest song after 'Darling'

Mumbai, March 3 (IANS) Deepika Padukone is in the news for her special dance number in the title song of "Dum Maro Dum" and its choreographer Bosco hopes that it surpasses the popularity of "Darling..."
"'Munni...'and 'Sheila...' have their own space and have already done what they had to do. We are looking forward to 'Dum Maro Dum' becoming one of the chartbusters. If we can do that, I think then we are kind of sorted," Bosco told IANS.
"I think it should be one of the biggest after 'Darling...' that has made a lot of news. I hope the audiences kind of love the way it is done," he added.
Bosco made the steps tougher for Deepika, who is appearing only in the special video shot for the promotion of Rohan Sippy's crime thriller that stars Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu.
Talking about Deepika, Bosco said: "The minute we got to know it is Deepika, we pushed the envelope and made the dancing little tougher. What is really positive is that Deepika learnt the steps very gracefully and executed them very well."
The title "Dum maro dum" reminds one of the iconic song from the 1971 classic "Hare Rama Hare Krishna", which was picturised on Zeenat Aman. The film was acted in and directed by Dev Anand.
Bosco claims the new track is fresh and least comparable with the old one.
"The track is very new. The whole treatment is quite new and then we got going with the idea. We didn't want to compare it with the old one because the old one is so huge, you know. We wanted an identity for our own song so made a completely different sounding track and gave a completely different look," said Bosco.
"You cannot overshadow something, which is eternal. You cannot compare and you cannot say this (new one) is better. They (classics) are priceless in their own form and it's completely different treatment that we have given to 'Dum Maro Dum'. That was chilled out, it's more dance based," he added.

Priyanka to collaborate with Lady Gaga

If all goes well, out desi girl Priyanka Chopra will soon be recording an album with international singer Lady Gaga. The actress reportedly had a closed door meeting with some music giants regarding the same.
A source told The Times of India, "Priyanka even met with Lady Gaga
. And, in all likelihood the 25-year-old American singer-songwriter, who is a rage and our very own B-town beauty may just collaborate on an album."
An eyewitness also confirmed the news, "PC and Lady Gaga did talk about music at length. The diva of pop told her how fascinated she is with India and Bollywood. She also told Priyanka that she is keen to visit India and learn about its music and culture."

Rajinikanth to romance Vidya Balan

Talented Bollywood actor Vidya Balan will play one of the three female leads opposite Rajinikanth in Rana.
Southern superstar Ranjinikanth will play a triple role in Rana, which will be directed by KS Ravi Kumar. Rekha and Deepika Padukone were confirmed earlier and now Vidya has bagged the role to romance the middle-aged Rajni.
Vidya"The makers wanted a girl with a distinctly Indian look and who would click with the South audience well. Rajni has a triple role in Rana. Two are full-fledged parts while the third is a cameo. Rekha will co-star opposite the older Rajnikanth, Vidya with the middle-aged one and Deepika opposite the youngest," a source told Mid Day.
After casting Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Robot, he has roped in three more Bollywood heroines for Rana. Seems the southern actor can't have enough of B-town beauties.

Rani, Vidya in Sabya’s film

It promises to be a perfectly-designed film. As ace fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee wraps up the script of his directorial debut venture, he only has two actors in mind for the film — Vidya Balan and Rani Mukerji. “I have completed my script with all the finishing touches. And I am very satisfied with the outcome,” says Mukerji. “The only problem is that I have been too busy with my other fashion-related assignments to take up the film,” he adds.
But the designer insists he isn’t worried about the casting. “Whenever I decide to start filming, I will approach Vidya and Rani for the parts. And fortunately, I share very special equations with both of them. And I know I can always bank on their support. We understand each others’ sensibilities very well.”
Money matters
Mukerji, who will be participating in Mumbai as well as Delhi fashion weeks, informs that “certain producers are also ready” to back the movie.
“However, my first set of priorities includes fashion stuff like stores, shows and designing. After all, I can’t deviate from things, which are my primary source of bread and butter,” he adds.
For the uninitiated, apart from designing for his fashion label Sabyasachi, the Kolkata-based designer is also famous for costume design in films.
He has created costumes for movies like Black (2005), Baabul (2006) , Laaga Chunari Mein Daag (2007), Paa (2009), Raavan (2010) and Guzaarish (2010). “My hands are full right now,” says Mukherjee with a laugh. And I don’t want to mess things up in a hurry. So it’s better I take things up only when I can easily concentrate.”
Claiming that he’s neck-deep in work as he designs several pieces for his multiple fashion shows this season, including the finale at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in Delhi, he adds, “You can understand what my state of mind will be right now. I am running around trying to come up with impressive and different collections for both the fashion weeks.”

Neetu approves of Ranbir's new girl

While Ranbir's ex flame Deepika Padukone and mom Neetu Singh, couldn't see eye to eye, it seems the latest girl in Ranbir's life has already got Neetu's green signal.
Neetu Singh was quite open about her dislike for the Padukone girl and openly talked about it. She even referred to her as "just another girlfriend in Ranbir’s life.”
She went on today, “Both of them are very young. It’s a long way to go before marriage. No one knows what future holds for them.”
Even dad Rishi Kapoor reportedly was not happy with Ranbir's choice.
But it seems Neetu Singh has finally found her perfect bahu. Though she did not reveal her name, she told her hairdresser that she approved of her son Ranbir Kapoor's new girl.

Mallika refuses to wear a bikini

Yes, you read that right! Mallika Sherawat, who is extremely comfortable shedding her clothes at the drop of the hat, is now turning coy and has refused to wear a bikini for a film. Buzz is that despite agreeing to don a bikini initially, the Hisss actress threw a fit and refused to wear one for Indra Kumar's Dhamaal 2. Mallika, apparently, wants a body double for the shoot, Mumbai Mirror reported.
Mallika told Indra Kumar that he could film her waist up in a bikini top but waist down will have to be a body double.
She told him in clear words, "Merge the two shots, mine upper and the body double's lower, or show it separately. Do whatever you want but no visuals of my lower body."
Initially, Indra did not take it seriously but when it came to actually shooting the scene, Mallika was adamant. He tried to persuade her for 3-4 hours but no amount of cajoling helped.
Finally, Mallika won and Indra had to find a body double to do the scene.
Indra Kumar simply conceded and told the tabloid, "I got what I wanted. You will see Mallika in a swimsuit from head to toe. I am not complaining."

It might be Bollywood’s best-kept secret, but an Englishman seems to have spilled the beans. Deepika Padukone and Kingfisher heir Sidhartha Mallya have never accepted their relationship but the swashbuckling batsman Kevin Pietersen has called her Sidhartha’s “girlfriend.”
Padukone, along with Mallya and Pietersen, went for lunch after the India-England match on Sunday. Immediately after the lunch, KP tweeted, “I just had a lovely lunch with Sidhartha and his girlfriend Deepika Padukone. Thanks for picking up the bill Deepika, not!”
Both Padukone and Mallya have consistently denied their relationship. When Mallya was recently asked if he was dating Padukone, considering he is seen a lot with her, he shot back saying, “Does being escorted by a brand ambassador of RCB mean dating?” Pietersen, for the uninitiated, plays for Mallya’s IPL team, Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Coming back to Pietersen’s lunch date with the two, an eyewitness inform the three spent almost an hour at a high-end restaurant in Bangalore. “Kevin constantly teased Sidhartha about his ‘girlfriend’ Deepika. She was constantly laughing and enjoying her animated conversation with the two men,” says a source.

Perfect Hair Style for Men

2010 brings forward amazing men’s hair styles which are of a school boy and of a rocker. The school boy look carries the 20th century limelight whereas the rocker finds it roots in 19th century British looks. 2010 offers a runway collection among these two categories giving a classical and stylish look of hair styles.
The fringe look: 2010 begins with the fringe look among men. This men’s style begins with close to eyebrow length cut and can be straightened with iron. It can also be called a ‘Caesar cut or Clooney cut’ as it reflects the regency era.
The Slick Fringe Look: This hair style is more of a George Clooney way and it is more common among men with black hair. This slick fringe look is more of a classical kind and if you want to slick back than you should slick the hair back to suit your hair.
The Classic Part: For a perfect men’s hair style in black, avoid doing central parting and rely more on traditional men’s style. Still there are plenty of options still abound. It is more of actor Cary Grant and The Prince Edward, Duke of Windsorhair style. As with styling the slick back, the trick here is to find a part that suits your face shape.

Styling it Like David Beckham

David Beckham is a guy who loves getting down and  dirty in his soccer uniform, off-field he’s a man very at ease with his maleness  who enjoys wearing, well, everything.
If the term style icon applied to anyone, it would most undoubtedly be David Beckham. His sense of style is such an encouragement to men around the world and people take style tips from him. It is no secret that he is one celebrity who loves to experiment with fashion and hairstyles yet it doesn't lessen his masculinity one bit.
In reality, the ever changing style has made David Beckham all the more sexy and the subject of countless articles so people may take the style tips he has to offer. He is living evidence that it's not only okay for guys to care about their image, but it's cool to follow style tips.
The star’s enthusiastic interest on his looks coupled with his natural good looks did not go amiss amongst fashion’s central circle, and the footballer is also a money-spinning brand in his own right appearing in high-profile advertisements and fashion magazines.
The style tip to be like Beckham is to mix things up. Best style tip is to always keeping people guessing requires staying on top of trends, knowing your basics, adopting a enthusiasm to wear items out of context, rotating your look frequently, and not being afraid to break all the style rules. No wonder fashionable people everywhere admire David Beckham as he’s inspiring, self-assured and fun -- everything fashion is all about.

Changing Trends in Men’s Fashion

During the last decade we have seen enormous changes in men’s fashion trends and people from all over the world have accept this change.
Since the summer is almost over, so have all the major fashion weeks around the world. This includes the major fashion weeks for men who include Paris, Rome, Tokyo and New York. Ever since the end of the fashion week, not just new collection by established designers were in competition with each other, but also were the new found designers.
Ever since the fashion weeks have ended, it has come to the public’s mind that the men’s collection is very versatile among different designers. For example, Zenga’s new men’s collection has a very “modern street” look to it while Gucci tried to make a more approachable look for the men’s collection. But that is just for the formal wear collections of the designers. Majority of the designers, both new and established, tried to go for a simplicity mixed with the colours of the street style for their casual collection.
Many people have argued that this sudden move towards the street look, even for the famous designers such as Gucci, Armani and YSL, is due to the fact that the Japanese fashion trend is taking over the world, which includes an outfit consisting of various colors with a very street yet smart look for the people who are buying the items. Men, especially in places such as Europe, prefer to go for a more versatile look for themselves because it not only looks approachable but also fits in for various non business occasions, such as parties, dinners or just a simple night out with friends.
As for the new formal wear collections by the designers, many have tried to emulate the fashion trends of the 1960’s and 1970’s and try their best to bring the fashion back but in a much more 21st century style, creating a perfect mixture of the fashion trends of two very different eras.

Men’s Fashion

Men’s style statements are stealing the limelight from women in this arena. The empire of fashion certainly has men fighting for their rightful share! That’s why, all seasonal catalogues and magazines are raving about how to create a strong impact as being a man with style.
The traditional female-oriented brands are launching their exclusive men clothing lines. The bold colors and unorthodox combinations made several people frown. Still, the target market for these designers is the young-blooded men who adopt the upcoming trends with STYLE!
So, the summer 2010 has passed and the undercurrent of fall 2010-2011 men’s fashion is rippling! Here’s a guide to get your wardrobe feel the heat of these hottest style components:
The chocolate brown, navy, and gray colors will dominate the garments featured by world-renowned designers. Surprisingly, white straight-cut pants will be in for the winters too. You can use your white khaki’s with checkered shirts for a dashing do! Like I mentioned, the checkered shirts available at NEXT, Crossroads, Outfitters and Stoneage would make their mark for the coming season too. True, they’ll be customized into hoodies, uppers or layered combination with your comfy jackets.
Talking about layered garments, they are sure to make a comeback for good! You can match up your two t-shirts or a t-shirt underneath the plaid shirt to create casual, carefree look. Make sure that your combo makes a style statement (and not a fashion disaster). Not all t-shirts or shirts can be layered together to prove a point!
Pinstripe blazers, pants and jackets are being hyped in the upcoming clothing lines. You can go for formal and informal attire with appropriate width of the pinstripes. Color combination is again crucial in your choice. However, you can always throw in a brown blazer with a pair of denim jeans!
Shimmery pants are outshining other garments! Your dress pants or denim with a bit of glossy look in the fabric are creating tidal waves in fashion. Milan, New York and London Fashion Weeks have included several designer pieces embodying the classic formal version with a KINK.
Vintage spin in shoes and accessories like wallets, sun shades, handbags and neck ties are in. The use of neck scarf will dominate for everyone in vogue! The not-too-cold winters of Pakistan can be enjoyed with stylish clothing for men. You don’t have to add too much to your existing wardrobe, but you can bring in fashion revolution with these little tips!
